Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn will ignore a subpoena issued from the Senate Intelligence Committee, citing his Fifth Amendment rights, a source told the Associated Press on Monday morning.
A similar report came out late last week, which was later refuted. The current report has yet to be confirmed.
The Senate Intelligence Committee is seeking information and documents related to their investigation of President Trump’s possible ties to Russia. Should Flynn indeed snub the congressional subpoena, the Senate could potentially issue a citation for contempt.
