Law&Crime, the only 24/7 live linear and OTT trial network launched today on PlayStation™ Vue joining a robust bundle of popular channels available on the platform including Oxygen, Investigation Discovery, and CNN.
Law&Crime’s addition to the PlayStation™ Vue platform is the latest in a string of high-profile announcements as the network continues to offer accessibility to its live trial coverage and original legal and crime programming to a broad multi-platform audience. In February, Law&Crime achieved a record of more than 50 million cross-platform minutes viewed.
PlayStation™ Vue is a video subscription based service offering live TV channels and premium features such as multiple view and simultaneous stream capabilities as well as on-demand programming across a wide-range of internet enabled devices. Viewers who are unable to watch the courtroom action unfold during the day will have the ability to use Playstation Vue’s cloud DVR feature to record. Law&Crime is available in the “core package.”
“Our distribution footprint continues to expand significantly. And, clearly, we have seen tremendous audience growth as more partners like Sony Vue, with their impressive market share, continue to see the value of our live trial coverage and original legal and crime programming” said Alex Kopacz, Head of Content Distribution & Licensing at Law&Crime.
