Law&Crime, the only 24/7 linear and OTT true-crime network, today announced it has launched on Sinclair Broadcasting’s new streaming service, STIRR. Law&Crime joins STIRR’s lineup of local and national news, sports, and entertainment channels, available across the United States.
The announcement comes as Law&Crime continues a major distribution expansion across a growing roster of multi-media and OTT platforms both domestically and internationally. The Law&Crime channel on STIRR will provide viewers gavel-to-gavel coverage of the most compelling trials nationwide, featuring expert legal analysis by Law&Crime’s attorneys and correspondents.
In addition to trial coverage, the Law&Crime channel on STIRR will also feature original programming such as Daily Debrief with Aaron Keller and Brian Ross Investigates, hosted by former chief investigative correspondent for ABC News, Brian Ross.
“STIRR is uniquely positioned for success in the market. As their roster of premium channels and available content continues to expand, Law&Crime will fill a channel void in a highly sought-after programming genre,” said Law & Crime Head of Content Distribution & Licensing, Alex Kopacz.
STIRR is a free streaming service that offers a curated selection of popular channels across top streaming platforms such as Roku, Amazon FireTV, and Apple TV, as well as through mobile iOS and Android devices. Viewers can also watch Law&Crime content directly through the STIRR desktop site, at www.stirr.com. STIRR currently offers 29 channels with new linear networks being added regularly.
“There’s an ever-growing demand for true crime television, so we are confident that the addition of Law&Crime will drive STIRR app downloads and, ultimately, enhance user engagement,” said Adam Ware, General Manager of STIRR. “By increasing access to highly sought-after content like this, we are working to advance the fundamental mission behind STIRR – to provide our viewers with unique, quality content from any device, at any time.”
