Remember that time Justin Bieber allegedly egged his neighbor’s home in Calabasas, California? Now he might go to jail for allegedly skipping a June 22 deposition in connection to the incident, according to TMZ.
The pop star skipped out because he was in New York City with model Hailey Baldwin, said a court filing from plaintiff Jeffrey Schwartz. This former neighbor demands that the Biebs be arrested on a bench warrant and fined $1,000 a day for each day missed. The pop star engaged in “obfuscation and delay tactics,” Schwartz wrote. He accuses Bieber of missing five depositions over the previous two years.
The judge has yet to rule on the warrant, however.
This fight stems from an incident in which Bieber allegedly egged the home. Video shows the pop star was responsible, the plaintiff argued.
“I got another one for you, actually,” said the man identified as Bieber.
“Yeah, come right over here you motherfucker,” said the neighbor. His 13-year-old daughter was the scene.
The pop star pleaded no contest in 2014, but was ordered to pay more than $80,000 in restitution and completed anger management classes to squash a misdemeanor vandalism charge. Well, that wasn’t enough for the victim, who is after the pop star, citing emotional distress he and his wife suffered from the incident and its aftermath.
The egging was allegedly the culmination of a feud between Bieber and his neighbors over his loud parties. He has since sold his home to reality TV star Khloe Kardashian.
A Bieber representative did not immediately respond to a Law&Crime request for comment.
