Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani had a little bit of a mishap on Twitter that started to be noticed more and more after the weekend ended, and he’s responding to it as of Tuesday evening.
Some context: Giuliani had an outburst Nov. 30 on Twitter, complaining that special counsel Robert Mueller “filed an indictment just as the President left for G-20.In July he indicted the Russians who will never come here just before he left for Helsinki.Either could have been done earlier or later. Out of control!Supervision please?”
It didn’t take long for people to notice that the link (http://G-20.In) appearing in that quote redirected to a page that says “Donald J. Trump is a traitor to our country.”
One Twitter user previously claimed credit for taking advantage of this window of opportunity. “Rudy didn’t separate g-20 from .in so ya boy bought the domain,” that person said.
Well, Giuliani responded on Tuesday night by blaming Twitter for allowing this to happen and by making fun of Time Magazine. Giuliani also demanded fairness.
“Twitter allowed someone to invade my text with a disgusting anti-President message. The same thing-period no space-occurred later and it didn’t happen. Don’t tell me they are not committed cardcarrying anti-Trumpers. Time Magazine also may fit that description. FAIRNESS PLEASE,” he said.
This was an easy target on social media.
Giuliani previously graced the world with the covfefe-esque tweet “Kimim ° has f.”
