New England Patriots Owner Robert Kraft has been charged in a prostitution case, police in Jupiter, Florida have announced.
Martin County Sheriff William Snyder signaled the charge in a press conference on Tuesday, according to ABC Action News.
“There will be a newsmaker in this one,” he said.
Two women allegedly ran sexual trafficking operations at local spas. Snyder promised “dozens” of arrests. Kraft was allegedly one of the clients.
In an associated investigation, Vero Beach cops said officials charged almost 200 people in connection to prostitution in Indian River County, Florida.
Victims were allegedly manipulated into prostitution.
Kraft’s team just won the Super Bowl, where authorities tend to hype up arrests connected to prostitution. The press office for the New England Patriots did not immediately respond to a Law&Crime request for comment.
