Donald Trump is now a named defendant in yet another lawsuit after three people, who claim they were assaulted at a Donald Trump rally, believe the Republican presidential frontrunner “incited a riot.” On Thursday, Molly Shah, Kashiya Nwanguma and Henry Brousseau filed a lawsuit in Jefferson Circuit Court in Louisville, where they allege the assault took place.

The lawsuit claims that when Trump yelled to “get them out” of the rally, he was directing his supporters to “use unwanted, harmful physical force to remove protesters, including the plaintiffs.” The plaintiffs each claim to have suffered three harms: physical injuries, emotional distress and humiliation. The trio are seeking unspecified damages, according to the suit.

Trump is not the only named defendant, there are others. The suit also named the Trump campaign and the three individuals who the plaintiffs claim assaulted them. Matthew Heimbach and Alvin Bamberger have been identified as two of the defendants and the third is an unnamed female. Heimbach, according to the lawsuit, is “affiliated with the Traditionalist Worker Party, a recognized hate group.”

As LawNewz.com’s Rachel Stockman has pointed out, a case against Donald Trump for inciting violence would be very hard to prove.

It’s unclear if Trump will look into paying the legal fees of the three individuals who allegedly assaulted the plaintiffs.
