In the wake of the FBI’s holiday info-dump regarding the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton‘s private email use, Donald Trump‘s campaign is looking to go on the attack.
The petition, which was circulated to Trump supporters via email Sunday morning, says that the released FBI summary of their interview of Clinton “proves once and for all that Hillary Clinton should be disqualified from the office of the presidency.” It says that Clinton has lied to the American people and Congress, putting national security at risk. Despite the FBI’s recommendation that Clinton not face charges, the petition says that Clinton “has no right to lead and defend America.”
