In the most recent episode of Guys Who Law, Jesse & Andrew interviewed the prosecutor for the Bill Cosby trial & sentencing – Kristen Gibbons Feden. Kristen provided some insight into her preparation and approach to the trial, which because of Pennsylvania state law, was not video-taped. Feden also discussed how she was assigned to the case and her interactions with Cosby in court.
“There really is absolutely nothing funny about someone drugging someone to the point where they can’t even say no, push away, or physically resist. And so when he laughed, I just became immediately enraged.”
She went on to talk about her experience with sex crime cases like these, where “men of power, (…) you see these are the type of people who prey on individuals who they see as needing them or desiring them in any way, shape, or form.”
