A woman from Washington State was arrested this week for shooting a man in the head and stealing his wallet from his home. Prosecutors say Marissa Wallen, 21, was working as an escort at the home of a 36-year-old client in the middle of sexual activity. He survived the assault.
According to probable cause documents, Wallen admitted to shooting the man because he was performing oral sex wrong, “and she did not know how to tell him that,” MyEverettNews reported.
Cops first found the victim still in his home three days later. Police documents said, “he had a lot of dried blood on his head and he was awake, but unresponsive.” The paperwork also reportedly indicated that Wallen was caught on camera, both inside the house and fleeing the scene. She is also accused of making more than $10,000 worth of charges on the man’s credit cards.
A neighbor told local KIRO,”He liked to kind of flash his money a little bit. It’s what’s going to happen – you’re going to attract negative people along the way.”
Police also arrested another person, Jenner Matthews, alleging that Wallen sent him money through the victim’s accounts.
Wallen was arraigned via video on Wednesday. The judge noted that she had 13 open warrants and set bail at $1 million.
