O.J. Simpson is getting out of prison soon, and apparently he’s planning his life on the outside. What’s in store for the former NFL star? Well, his attorney revealed some of what Simpson has already decided to do with his freedom, saying, “Mr. Simpson is getting the iPhone.”
Should we expect him to be active on social media? Will The Juice be loose on Twitter? With a smart phone at the ready, could an active Twitter account be far behind?
Remember, Simpson has been incarcerated since 2008. Back then, the world was just getting to know the first-generation iPhone, and Twitter was still in its infancy, about two years old. A lot has changed since then, and Simpson may want to make up for lost time. Or, perhaps he’ll decide to lay low for a while.
We could find out as soon as Monday.
The Nevada Parole Board’s decision to grant Simpson his freedom stirred controversy, as many believed he should not have been granted parole due to his history of domestic violence. While he was acquitted of murdering Nicole Brown Simpson, a civil jury found him liable for her death, and there was additional reported history of abuse before then.
