Blac Chyna has lawyered up, and is seeking a restraining order against her ex Rob Kardashian, says her new attorney Lisa Bloom.
Bloom later issued a follow-up statement obtained by LawNewz.com. From the press release, sent late Friday afternoon:
Mr. Kardashian, you are now on notice: revenge porn is illegal. Cyberbullying your ex is harassment. Chyna ended your relationship months ago and she has the right to live as she chooses, work as she chooses, dress as she chooses, date who she chooses, and be intimate with who she chooses. Chyna and I both believe that this is an important women’s rights issue, as too many women and girls have been slut-shamed by exes.It stops now. Your attempts to shame and control her are hereby rejected. Her body, her choice. Her life, her choice. Back off.
They plan on visiting a Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday morning for the restraining orders.
Kardashian recently posted nude pictures of Chyna on Instagram.
“This is from Chyna yesterday to me,” he wrote in a post depicting her genitals. “I never been so disrespected in my life. I just bought her 250K of jewelry yesterday. This woman is so disrespectful and I don’t care.”
Commenters wondered if this action actually violated California’s “revenge porn” statute. Bloom, who Chyna had not yet hired, told the New York Daily News in a Wednesday report that it did. As of Friday, no lawsuit or charges have been filed against Kardashian.
